Aftermovie

SMS Terms & Consent

Last updated: July 6, 2026

What messages we send

Aftermovie sends one type of SMS: a one-time passcode (OTP) used to verify your phone number when you sign in or create an account. We do not send marketing, promotional, or recurring messages of any kind. You will only ever receive a message immediately after you request one on the sign-in screen.

How you opt in

Consent is collected on the Aftermovie app's sign-in screen. You enter your phone number and tap “Send code.” Directly below that button, the screen displays this disclosure before any message is sent:

By continuing, you agree to receive a one-time SMS passcode to verify your number (one message per sign-in attempt). Msg & data rates may apply. Terms & Privacy Policy.

No number is ever texted except immediately after it is submitted on this exact screen for this exact purpose. There is no other opt-in path, and phone numbers are never used for marketing.

Message frequency

One message per sign-in or sign-up attempt. There is no recurring or subscription messaging.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out (STOP)

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, REVOKE, STOPALL) to any message. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. Opting out of verification messages will prevent you from signing in by phone. Reply START to resubscribe.

Getting help (HELP)

Reply HELP (or INFO) to any message for assistance, or email support@aftermovie.fm.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is used only to deliver your one-time passcode, through our SMS provider (Twilio), solely to operate the sign-in feature. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for details.
